At First Coast Fire Ants, we understand the devastating impact fire ants can have on your life and property. Our mission is to provide effective, safe, and long-lasting solutions to keep your environment free from these invasive pests. Based in North Central Florida, we are dedicated to serving our community with the highest standards of pest control.

We specialize in fire ant control and nothing else. Our focused approach allows us to deliver the best possible results for our clients. We treat a variety of properties, including residential areas, HOAs, commercial spaces, RV parks, sports complexes, plant nurseries, schools, horse farms, and golf courses.

We proudly serve Jacksonville, Lake City, Live Oak, St. Augustine, and Palatka, as well as most of northeast Florida. Even if you’re outside our service area, we have a network of partners across the state who use the same effective treatment methods.

Our Journey

First Coast Fire Ants was born out of a passion for the outdoors and a desire to combat the growing fire ant problem in Florida. 

“I’m passionate about the outdoors. I love to be outside, hunting, fishing, boating and I hate fire ants! I am excited to get involved in the community, meet folks, and bring them solutions that work! I am confident in this product and that makes this job fun and fulfilling.”

Leah McDonald, our owner, brings extensive experience in sales and marketing to the team. After a successful career in pharmaceuticals, Leah saw an opportunity to work alongside her son and build a family business. Her passion for helping others frames most aspects of her life.

“I love that I can work with my son to build a family business. We are working with friends we trust and have known for years their product works. We are excited to build on that legacy of excellent customer service and keeping customers satisfied,” Leah said.
